Eason Leong has been in the forex market for many years and has extensive practical experience in the field. In 2017, he has worked with a famous forex dealer VIBHS, and in the same year, founded INDEX GLOBAL BERHAD, a company that builds and sell EA systems in Malaysia and have successfully helped several traders and clients to achieve wealth freedom.
However, he is not content with just making and selling of EA systems. He has bigger ambitions and aspirations. In year 2020, he has established several other businesses in different industries such as Unity Auto Sdn Bhd, a company that buys and sells used cars, AST Planet Sdn Bhd, a business that handles the import and export of durians, and AST Plus Sdn Bhd, an entity that handles forex trading. He hopes to build an ecosystem based on the foreign exchange market. Through the combinations of downstream businesses and the foreign exchange market, this makes the first step to realize a complete industry chain.
By 2022, he saw the limitations of EA’s smart trading and established Woodland Consultancy Sdn Bhd. He believes that ultimately, it is humans who control EA smart trading systems. EA system works perfectly only when traders who uses it have sufficient knowledge and awareness. This is the reason why Woodland Consultancy Sdn Bhd is established, in the hope that education would give traders and retail investors a firmer foundation.
From developing one business to another, Eason Leong has never stopped his pace in exploring new markets. He believes that education is the passport to the future and Woodland Academy can provide beginners and traders of all levels the proper education to face challenges in the volatility of the forex world.
